You folks have that many feral pigs? They can be quite destructive. I suppose seeing cops with rifles could be unsettling. One of the deputy sherrifs here got quite a ribbing. Mountain lion got into a citizens garage, killed a dog and wouldn’t come out. The sheriff went in and shot 10 rounds off to kill that lion! Not very good shooting!

Mountain lion in a garage? I’d be none too thrilled about having to go in there and damn glad I got him no matter how many shots it took. A kill is a kill.
