Well SOME of us have indeed traveled and lived in lots of places here in the good ole USA and some of us have actually, you know, served in the military (and I can’t think of a better way to get to know folks from other places, ethnic groups, races, religions and the like) but “people just don’t have a clue anymore what America is and what Americans are” could be due to the fact that America isn’t what America used to be back in, oh, say 2004.
Just saying to all those “it’s Bush’s fault” folks that the Democrats have controlled Congress (ya know that branch of government that used to write laws and give other members of Congress time to at least READ THE DAMN THINGS) since January 2007.
And it’s not gonna get any better in 2010 barring some sort of catastophic event -which I would NOT like to see - or the MSM becoming more even handed - which I don’t think I’ll live long enough to see.
Face it my friend, Obama’s been in office for what, less than six months and he has not lived up to a LOT of his campaign pledges (except, of course, for the UAW and the Tree-Huggers) and his “outreach to the World” got met with a mighty testy World and he isn’t sure how to react to that.
Nope, this isn’t the America of RWR anymore; hell it’s not even the America of Bill Clinton anymore.
