Can I draw your attention to my new spinoff link?

A quantitatively minded person out in the blogosphere, Marla Singer, has assembled a big database of Chrysler dealerships and their owners’ political donations, in an attempt to address the question of political bias in a scientific manner. She’s the only person I know of who’s doing this.

So far, in my opinion, her published results show no evidence of any bias. But her work is ongoing, and I think it’s worth following.
