Costco pays its employees more than its competitors, and it’s doing gangbusters business. It’s got a happier workforce, and the company’s profits are still the envy of most retail.

If Costco can do it, in a market niche with razor thin profits, why not in other lines of work (industry sectors)?

Except that many other industries treat workers like crap, and don’t care about fostering a work ethic because the employees are disposable.
