Dungy: Limbaugh had right to go through NFL process

NBC’s Tony Dungy joined the show to discuss big issues around the NFL. Here are some of his takes:

— Dungy thought Rush Limbaugh should have had the opportunity to go through the whole process of applying to buy an NFL team.

Dungy said that the owners of the teams should have been able to vote on Limbaugh’s bid. Not the general public.

Dungy said judging potential owners on external things can be very dangerous. It takes a more thorough process.

“We don’t have any minority ownership in the NFL right now, Dungy said. “It’s the same thing.”
