Sorry you are wrong. IF they stop making SUV, the cost of the cars will go UP, WAY UP! GM made more money on SUV and trucks than anything else and that is what kept many car lines afloat. Once the SUV/Truck lines decrease or disappear, the price has no where to go but up.

Morning saberry! Hm, interesting point! I need to think about that, as you may be right. Supposing that the “average” cost per car may go down, if fewer are sold, the price per unit would have to go up to cover the costs overall.

However, the manufacturer could, I suppose, decide to build fewer units, but then the cost per unit would be higher.
