Civil union will work fine for me. Marriage (my view) is between man and woman. Anything else is an aberration.

Having said that, I don’t give a shit if two same sex individuals wish to keep a life together. If civil unions can provide the necessary protections as marriage does, great.

The problem for me is when it gets shoved in my face, incessantly and stridently. I don’t run around prosletyzing my heterosexual union—I expect that same respect from gays.
