A year ago, the conventional wisdom was that Trump was a curiosity, a bloviating douchebag that had no real chance at the nomination and any talk from him about running was aimed at boosting his TV ratings. So many times over the past 12 months, the demise of his campaign was predicted, polling plateaus predicted, and confident assumptions made that he wouldn’t make it past Iowa.

I think we all should take a moment and realize that reality is far more warped and insane than any of us could have ever imagined.
