I was reading an article on that very topic, namely that the Reformation had a very retrogressive effect on Christianity in many ways.

Kind of like how Wahhabism did to Islam.

When the same usual suspects blurt about how Islam needs to be “reformed”, they are too stupid to realize that reform doesn’t always hold a positive connotation.
