The Republicans are grasping at any little twig they can to try and keep their sinking ship afloat. This is just another example.

If you discount the recent Gallup polls (showing Romney with a six or seven point lead), Obama is back in the lead in many poll averages, so you may be right.

If the second debate had any effect all all, we should be seeing it this weekend.
