I want to find a way to acknowledge the Lizards who actually live by what Jesus taught versus the modern day American Christian ^TM because they don’t deserve to be lumped in like that.

Of course, my solution to this was to leave the religion, so it’s not like I have great ideas.

I was raised by those sort of people, and my siblings and their families are that kind of Christian, so I get really offended when some bigoted asshole who fetishizes birth but can’t be bothered with the born claims Christianity as the sole province of his sort of narrowmindedness. My brother, for all that he’s an insufferably pompous git, and his wife put themselves in harms way for their beliefs, and those beliefs seem to me to be more in line with Christ’s teaching than those I hear from people who piss and moan about Christians being persecuted.
