It doesn’t. You think that’s something, you should see all the nasty stereotypes white Americans have come up with against each other. They used to kill each other over mere theological differences, just like they did in their old countries. In later, nicer years, white-on-white animosities got subsumed into vaudeville and other entertainments. Today, it’s known as ethnic humor which still endures as redneck jokes, Sarah Silverman and Lisa Lampanelli. Lots of others, too.
