Look, if there’s a college poly-sci or history professor reading this blog, they could go ahead and submit Charles, you, me, or anyone else they deem worthy of a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. Heck, they could nominate LGF for the prize for raising awareness of media mendacity/bias and encouraging reasonable dialogue among varying political viewpoints.

Fact is that anyone can be nominated - the process is so open that anyone can be nominated. The nomination itself is meaningless. The award of the prize is only slightly less meaningless.

Ever since they awarded one to Yasser Arafat I have considered the prize itself meaningless.
