My daughter and son-in-law told me they have no medical insurance and have to pay the penalty this year. I told them “Don’t blame Obamacare, blame your shitty governor who didn’t expand Medicaid in your state”

So she has to pay a tax because the governor didn’t expand a welfare program. Does being taxed because of that seem right to you?
