microevolution and macroevolution

is the idea here that microevolution is christian and macroevolution is a vile deception of satan?

They can’t deny Evolution, because the change in the genetic composition of a population of organisms as a result of selection (natural or otherwise) working on the genetic diversity of the starting population is obvious and undeniable. So, they artificially divide it into two concepts. According to this, Microevolution is what happens within a species - that’s the one they can’t deny.

Macroevolution is evolution sufficient to generate different species. THAT, they deny. Except, to deny it, they have to fall back on ‘Kinds’.

You can walk them through the whole thing - separation, divergence, speciation, further divergence, but then they say, “Then why don’t dogs become cats?” or some other damn stupid thing, as their escape.
