Yeah, I read that too—he wanted assurances from the NY GOP that no one in the party would run against him. He apparently can’t stand to lose, but what value is winning if you cheated to get there? He’s all ego, zero scruples.

BTW, I’m pretty sure that was also in the NYT, maybe last week or the week before.

To him, the value would be not losing. If he has to cheat to not lose, that’s okay, as long as he doesn’t lose.

That’s why he has to lose. Big. Publicly. Humiliatingly.
