Good for you. Many of the 20th centuries best companies came into existence in the great depression. My little media company DB2 is all about providing work for Dragon_Lady in the short term, and several people including myself in the medium / long term. It shows how small biz is critical to recovery, as one segment among others.

I’ve had my own company since 1998, but I’ve let it slide the last few years. I’m trying to get the wife going in her own jewellery business but she can be tough to motivate.
