Well, to be clear, they’re actually playing dumb with the entire thrust of the blog these days, which is the very thing being denied. And that thing being denied is the rise of the influence of Tea Partiers in Republican politics.

Of course the tea partiers are influential in the GOP. Most of the tea partiers ARE republicans, angry at losing the elections of 2006-2008. And angry at a GOP which they see as not far right enough.
