Kudos to Southern Mississippi University for their swift and forceful response to the racist chant that members of their band had during last week’s NCAA tournament game with Kansas State.

“Teachable moment” here meaning, “this is going to cost you thousands of dollars, chucklehead.”

Cheaper than going through life as a racist, though.
