I moved to Seattle not long after St. Helens blew. I sometimes worried what would happen if I were there if Rainier blew.

It would be very messy.

Hell, Seattle couldn’t even clear a little snow. I suspect that if Rainer were to blow its top, the region would be almost completely shut down. The whole of the Puget Sound Area economy would suffer a massive BSOD.
