The Kid’s picked up an interesting come-back that he likes to whip out when I tell him what to do. “Gee, Mom. That’s torture. Are you gonna’ water-board me if I don’t do it?”

My mom used to say to me “Don’t be a smartass”, and I’d reply “Would you rather me be a dumbass?” (that’s when she’d whack me).
