Everyone posts something, sooner or later, that can be or is misinterpreted - it isn’t fun at all.

I’m sure you will have a similar degree of the patience and understanding you asked for here, for others who who find themselves in that position at some point in the future.

Well I guess like everyone else, sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t. I’ve said a number of things at LGF that have been factually incorrect and have been quite embarrased over it. But I guess if you’re going to post on a public blog, you have to be willing to be wrong sometimes.

I don’t often get this angry. I’m used to hearing a lot of Obama hatred here. Some of which I agree with and some I don’t. But to my heart, I feel the criticism of him on this post was completely unwarranted and childish.

Few people said anything actually about his speech, except someone who said he talks about the shoah too much. (I mean, what else was he supposed to say at Buchenwald?) and someone who said he mentioned the settlements which he didn’t. They were criticizing his stance, his eye contact, his tone of voice and that was all quite insane.

What also irked me was the parallel, the hypocracy between “Bush Derangement Syndrome” from the Left and the vileness towards Obama from the Right, so much so they have to criticize his look, his voice, etc. For some, he can do nothing good. So if those folks want to be honest with themselves, maybe, just maybe they can understand why some people thought Bush could do nothing good either.

Well probably more of an answer than what you were counting on, but hey, I gave a lot of people a chance to improve their karma, so that was something.
