The Democrats have a big advantage from the start being centered in more populated states for the EC. Let me put it this way. When Bush beat Gore (I’m not going to get into the FLA fiasco) and Kerry, he was winning by a single state. The Republicans do NOT have a rational candidate nor one that has some appeal to a diverse electorate. In fact, I don’t think it’s crazy at all for me to think that Clinton would equal or maybe even top Obama’s 2008 map but we’re a long way aways.
