Formed in March, they are ex-military and police who repledge themselves to defend the Constitution, even if it means disobeying orders. If the U.S. government ordered law enforcement agencies to violate Second Amendment rights by disarming the people, Oath Keepers will not obey.

So they say. But all members of the Armed Forces of the United States take an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States and to obey the LAWFUL orders from the Commander-in-Chief and his designates. In August of 1974 a short while before former President Nixon resigned, he attempted to place the U.S. military on ready alert. The Generals, seeing this as threatening to the Constitution, refused the order.
We do not need the Oath Keepers to protect us from our elected government and our Armed Forces. We are well protected enough.
