Makes politics interesting. When I lived near Columbus, the state felt like 4 or 5 states in one. Hillbilly Southeast aka North West West Virginia, conservative Ohio Valley, college town Columbus, rustbelt towns in the North, and Cleveland - the most western part of New Jersey.
