What’s most interesting is that not only did BHO’s father want 100% taxation, but so did FDR, who Il Douche (I like that term for BHO) seems to admire. FDR had wanted 100% taxation on anyone earning over $100,000. This has been going on a long time with the Democrats.

Here’s the marginal top tax rates since the inception of the income tax. When first instituted, the top rate was 7%. At its highest, it was 94% (during WWII). Until the 1960s, the rate was 87% (87% of statutory taxable income). JFK cut the rate to 70%. Reagan cut the top tax rate to 50%. GWB cut the rate to 35%. And yet we get an unending call for still higher taxes on the rich (which keeps being defined downward), even as the bottom 50% of people don’t pay taxes at all, and many of those are about to receive welfare checks - not rebates or refunds on taxes paid as part of the porkfest.
