Norsemen in power armor with automatic weapons verus a scuttling horde of chitinous death spells win in my book.

My new favorite Warhammer is Battletech’s WHM-7A. Two extended range particle cannons, one 6 tube short-range missile lancher (with improved guidance system) and a power group of 4 medium lasers and two small pulse lasers. Throw in heavy armor and enough cooling gear to use the weapons and you’ve got a 70 ton avatar of death.

/I know its a different game, but I was having a geekgasm.
