Economy was trending downward when Bush took office (tech bubble bursting), then 911 happened…

Can we please get some agreement that 911 damaged America a lot more than the tragic loss of life and horrible loss of property? And it didn’t matter who the heck was in office at the time, there was going to be a huge net loss there?

Bush spent like a drunken sailor… damned right.
President Obama is spending money like a drunken sailor (tell me that’s racist)… damned right.

911 is not the end all answer, but I can tell y’all one thing… We’re gonna continue to suffer from that for a while. And whoever is in office is gonna be blamed. And at a point, it’s just not fair anymore.
