Well, they actually often do, but the GOP and the NRA continue to lie through their teeth about Democratic candidates and their positions on gun control. I’ve never seen so much rank nonsense in my life about supposed mysterious gun control plans as when Obama was elected. So here we are!

The problem is that he was from a very liberal neighborhood in an city with a very anti-gun political culture. That lead to the rhetoric. It clearly went over the top, but Obama’s recent appointment of an anti-gun person as the director of the BATFE is reminder that Barack Obama is no friend to gun ownership.
