You understand why those numbers went down, right?

They went down because hundreds of thousands of unemployed people (many more than the 247,000 who lost their jobs) gave up hope ans topped looking for work.

So the fell out of the statistics of people considered in the labor pool.

They gave up hope…

The numbers have to be compared to previous numbers, and that adjustment game has been played for decades.

So the ratio got smaller.

That’s not a good thing.
