Thanks, wee fury - that’s a lovely tribute. It really gave me goosebumps when he sang “Again…and again…and again”.

There’s an album - NOT the soundtrack, but titled: “(Music From And Inspired By) WE WERE SOLDIERS”, that I’d guess you would like. Only a couple of the songs on it have been included on the various artists’ own albums. The songs apparently were written/composed just for this album. All songs speak of soldiers at war, those left at home, etc, and some are exceptionally moving. Two of those, in particular, are “For You” by Johnny Cash/Dave Matthews, and “My Dear Old Friend” composed by Patty Griffin, and sung by Mary Chapin Carpenter. As best as I can find, Patty Griggin hasn’t recorded it for any of her albums even. Charles is a Griffin fan - perhaps he knows. It has to be one of the lovliest songs ever composed.
