I collect meteorites too… have a lot of them, they are all 6000 years old… (er… I mean 4.3 billion years old)… it’s the oldest material a human can hold in their hands… literally stardust… from the material that spun around the proto-sun… you know… those illustrations you see with the gas and debris floating around a new sun… a meteorite is holding that space junk in your hand.

And I am in proud possession of a couple of those meteorites, really amazing to think about what they are, how old they are …
