re: #3 Emptor scriptor Remorse

Considering that the Trump administration starts off with every question under the book, starting with its ties to foreign powers and it’s principle being sued for everything from raping a minor to tax issues to charitable foundation that pays off bills improperly to scamming people out of their life savings in a scam school to bilking contractors and workers out of contractually obligated payments all to further enrich himself, what exactly is legitimate about a Trump presidency?

If he wins, he’ll be president. No one is denying him this, or denying that he’d be able to push his agenda, particularly since if he wins, it all but guarantees that he’d have a favorable Congress to work with that will help him destroy Obamacare, the safety net, and everything else that is meant to protect the general welfare of the nation.

There will be a loyal opposition to be sure, and I would hold him to it, but his word and deed are impossible to consider binding when he shifts and ducks everything imaginable - no matter how petty.

That compares with the GOP treatment towards Clinton, who they’re already signaling will be unable to make judicial nominations and be the focus of endless investigations because the GOP isn’t interested in governing or legislating. They want to kneecap a Clinton presidency even before she’s in office. They will thwart and block Clinton’s presidency at every opportunity - not because it is the good and right thing, but because they oppose on purely political terms, and the nation will be worse off for it.
