I’m 60 and have never voted conservative/republican or anything close. But I know plenty of people my age, wealthier than I can ever be, who loathe democrats and liberals for no truly coherent reason. Maybe money causes brain malfunctioning in some people, I don’t know.

Conservatives have this knack for creating scary stereotypes that they had to make up to justify hatred. In the real world, it would be laughable if it didn’t do so much damage.
