Well, my Linux installation went more smoothly than I had planned. Everything seems to be working except sound, and that’s only broken in a couple of applications - a minor miracle in the Linuxverse. So I’m quitting while I’m ahead.

I’ll probably be around tomorrow, sporadically, as bouts with the new kitten and wrapping paper, a big ol’ block of English Stilton and crackers, and prepping a new but simple ham recipe for dinner permit. But if I’m absent, here’s wishing a Merry Christmas to y’all!
