I’d like very much to see Dr. Cordell’s comments about an Army guy who refused to serve under Bush.
Somehow, I don’t think capital punishment would be part of the picture.
I had some choice words for the idiots who enlisted into the Army and then tried to cop-out of their deployments on ethical grounds as well. Doesn’t matter that you don’t like the war, you signed up for the military, tough titties.
In my mind there’s still a major difference between the two though. Objecting to deploying to Iraq because you don’t feel the war was justified is a bit different than alleging that the sitting President of the United States isn’t a valid Commander-In-Chief. If I recall the guys who didn’t want to go to Iraq were trying to claim they were conscientious objectors, not that Bush was a Kenyan Muslim.
