Santorum, Gingrich, Palin, Bachmann, Paul, Cain and Trump are irrelevant. They’re noise candidates; they get a lot of press but hardly anybody really believes in them.

The money is on Romney, Pawlenty, Daniels and (recently and surprisingly) Hunstman.

I think the real problem is seen in what happened to Gingrich, Huckabee and Trump the Republicans are now entirely shackled to the Ryan budget, xenophobes and birthers. Romney and Huntsman don’t stand a chance, too compromised on health care and crippled by their own ability to reason. It’s down to the “who dats” Pawlenty and Daniels.
