re: #821 Ali Al-Beheshti
How very sad that in a usually decent nation (USA), enough people hate the idea that *someone* (read that minority, coloured, homosexual, single-mother, anti-wasp) might actually have access to health care that they could not otherwise afford — as though each and every penny would come from their Croesus-like (in their dreams) pockets. Even worse, there is a significant number who actively oppose American health care reform because they want the poor/uncovered to die as “undesirables”, social darwinism from creationists. Even more disgusting for this election to bear on national healthcare, when all of the residents of Massachusetts already have state wide “nationalised” health care.
Feh!
You got it. We hate blacks, browns, gays, and women.
