There is no “we”, there are good candidates and bad ones. Brown was a better candidate , and he won. I don’t vote for the party, I vote for the candidate, and if the GOP would find some good, socially liberal candidates, I’d take a hard look at them.

I’ve been thinking. This development pretty much means every bit of legislation going through the senate is going to have get the stamp of approval by the Maine twins who are actually more liberal than Lierberman. I’m not even sure that’s such a bad thing in all regards. For HCR it is but for cap and trade and some other stuff I can’t say that it bothers me much.
