What annoys me is the fact that Republican ex-Representatives seem to be able to get so much attention. Not just Bachmann, but Allen West, Newt Gingrich, Tom Delay, etc. When was the last time that a Democratic ex-Representative was quoted in the news?
Anyone?

Democrats don’t have an analogous “wing nut welfare” network that keeps ex-Congresspeople employed and/or pimps them out to talk shows (having Fox as a mouthpiece certainly helps in this regard).
