Texas Republicans are working on a way to make the HB-2 anti-abortion bill acceptable to the Supreme Court by writing a provision to a similar law that would allow “non-compliant” abortion clinics to seek a waver from the state Department of Health.

They intend to bring the bill forward in the January 2017 session.

Hopefully we can have another left of center justice on there before that happens.
