Aww…mom and pop got caught hiding in a warehouse…sad.

And they were very distressed after they were detained…so close to a Canadian crossing too…

Someone reminded me that the Canadian border is still pretty much closed, so escaping to Canada was really not in the cards. But this really does stick the knife in the idea that they weren’t running. They were ~45 miles from home, in a warehouse. This is not the behavior of people fixing to turn themselves in.

ETA: I realized I used the old Southernism “fixing to”. Not going to apologize, I think it fits just fine.
