If, as it seems, the Crimean Peninsula is now within Ukrainian missile range, I get the feeling that sad young lass won’t be the only Russian skedaddling back home. There were stories published in mid to late March that wealthy Russian elites in Crimea were putting their apartments or homes up for sale, with some saying off-the-record it was because they were sure it would only be a matter of time before Ukrainian forces would start launching attacks as part of their efforts to retake the peninsula.

I’d say they were correct in that assessment.
