Heh. The Dems in my area likely look more like Reps from other areas. When we’ve got prime time commercial slots where local retailers talk about “Putting Christ Back In Christmas” while peddling their stock, I really don’t see the wacko-fundie influence fading in my neck of CA any time soon.
