re: #703 MandyManners You are correct, his business isn’t open yet. The reason he isn’t getting the liquor license is because he misrepresented his business on the application. Foolishly, he sunk 200 grand into the place before he had his license approved. How he has handled this pretty much guarentees that even if he does open he won’t have any customers. The folks in the community are pissed. And, the cops (of which there are 2 full time and 4 part-time) were concerned, rightly so, that there would be real trouble once the parade reached his little corner of LaLa land. I suppose there will be a lot of court action on this and it will cost Crivitz more money than they have. Other veterans in the community did try to reason with him to no avail. Several even climbed the pole and removed it themselves after talking and trying to reason with him.
