Yeah, I think a lot of those “twitter feeds” from Iran were just bullshit.
Course, if Achmadinnerjacket hadn’t cut cell phone and computer services, and for a period of time intercepted the BBC’s satellite uploads, we might have had more of a shot at the truth.
But failing that, the twitter feeds were all we had to go on. And some of the Videos taken by those cell phones and sneaked out left very little doubt in my mind that the ruling thugs in Iran did indeed deliberately murder their own citizens and beat the crap out of a lot of others.
Compare and contrast the Iranian elections with the “Blue Thumb” Iraqi elections.

When that nut shot that guard in DC at the Holocaust Museum there were some false feeds. Some dummy turned New Jersey Street into the State of New Jersey. Happens all the time I guess.
