With regard to a few “Kurd” statements regarding Saddam. Youall know that was in 1988 right? Before Desert Storm? Before we blew the living crap out of him for an entire year?

FYI: Saddam kept on killing the Kurds, Shiites and other Iraqis after Desert Storm.

Congress passed a resolution authorizing the president to go to war, siting some 22 different reasons, including the protection of Iraqi minorities. It wasn’t the main reason, but it was one of them.

I also don’t mind saying that Bush and/or Cheney were not “misled by bad intel” they lied, period. Of course this is just my opinion.

Could you please be specific? About what did they lie? If you have zero facts upon which to base your assertion, then it is no longer an opinion, it’s a delusion.
