Hmm, interesting. Well, that does dispose of the “it was used by neo-Nazis” argument. However, the problem with the term remains since it is used so non-discriminately. Like “dual loyalty”, “Israel-firster” can be true in individual cases (see: Jonathan Pollard; Sheldon Adelson; Carolyn Glick). But it is now thrown against supporters of Israel as a group.
