If they cared about optics, they wouldn’t have chosen a VP candidate whose budget plan would benefit the wealthy like Mitt Romney at the expense of everyone and everything else.

Well, I can understand making important decisions that have real downsides. It’s the completely unimportant decisions with real downsides that just leave me shaking my head.
