Sounds like the GOP’s up to their usual tricks, keeping it separate with perhaps eye towards extracting more “concessions” (read: budget cuts) in order to “offset” the cost. You know, along with the mandated time for them to pontificate at length about how an extension is a bad thing because welfare is bad, etc, etc.
